When you see it

you start working towards it

If you could just get there

you could be where you’d like
then
all of your dreams would be realized.

The day that you reach your very first goal

you are happy for a time
until
you realize there is something else to gain.

Something bigger, shinier, worth more, cooler and such…..

The grass is always greener on the other side –
the water bill is twice as high.
